Matthew McHale

Vice President

Matthew McHale is the Vice President of Ramsey McHale.  Over the past 15 years Matthew has amassed a wealth of knowledge through experience in many different facets of the construction industry.  As a land development manager with Pulte Homes, Matthew was responsible for developing infrastructure and preparing residential lots in Atlanta neighborhoods.

As a project manager for BT Ramsey Co, Matthew was responsible for coordinating subcontractors, procuring materials and equipment, maintaining relationships with the homeowner and design professionals, and ensuring the project met expectations while staying within both budget and schedule. 

Working in the Preconstruction department at Holder Construction, Matthew was responsible for project estimates, project buyout, and construction scheduling.  His experience with Holder Construction exposed him to a myriad of project types including higher education, hospitality, and data centers.  Matthew went on to serve as a Construction Manager with Pollack Shores where he was responsible for managing the construction of multifamily projects in both Charlotte and Atlanta. 

In 2015, Matthew returned back to Saint Simons Island to partner with Buzzy and form Ramsey McHale.

In addition, Matthew is an Eagle Scout, a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and earned his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Georgia Institute of Technology.
